Privacy policy

This policy explains what information PONTO Factory uses when you request access, manage an account, place an order or contact support.

Information we use

• Access-request details, including your name, contact details, professional profile and requested services.
• Account details, preferences, module access, protected password data, active sessions and security activity.
• Coding and File Service requests, vehicle details you choose to provide, uploaded source files, delivered files and order conversations.
• EUR balance activity, top-up requests and the payment reference you submit for manual matching. PONTO Factory does not ask for your PayPal password or card details.
• Support messages, attachments, notifications, referral activity and saved Dyno reports.

Why we use it

We use this information to review access requests, provide and secure your workspace, process and deliver the services you request, maintain balance and order records, prevent misuse, answer support questions and notify you about relevant account or order activity.

Invitation link statistics

When you follow a PDF or forum-signature registration link, we count browser-confirmed opens and estimate unique visitors and their countries. Country lookup runs on our server using a local database, not an external IP lookup service. Campaign records contain the link source, visit time, country and a keyed identifier derived from the network address and browser type; they do not store the original IP address, browser string, contact details or browsing history. We do not set analytics cookies or local-storage identifiers. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control opt-outs are respected. Known automated previews and signed-in administrator or test-account visits are excluded.

Only administrators can view these statistics. Records are retained for up to 90 days and limited to the most recent 50,000 opens. Counts and countries are approximate, particularly with shared connections and VPNs. IP Geolocation by DB-IP.

Who can access it

Your private account, order files and conversations are available to the owning account and authorised PONTO administrators who need them to provide support or complete the requested work. Service infrastructure may process information only as needed to operate the workspace. A payment made through PayPal is also subject to PayPal's own privacy terms.

Retention

Information is kept for as long as it is needed to provide the workspace and requested services, maintain security and resolve account, payment or order questions. Some financial, security or dispute records may need to be retained after an account closes. Information that no longer needs to be retained is removed or anonymised where appropriate.

Your choices and requests

You can update workspace preferences, download an account-data export and submit an account deletion request from the User control panel. Deletion requests are reviewed before removal because some order, financial, security or dispute records may need to be retained. You may also contact PONTO to ask about, correct or request a copy of your account information.
